...and I'm stuck at work! I'm kinda sad...think I'd rather be home with her. Of course, I think that every day. Hehe. Anyone else get sad when your baby turned 1? In a way, maybe I should be relieved...we're almost past the baby stage. She's a preemie so she's still a little behind, but catchin up quick. How weird....my baby's one today....

When my boys turned 1 I made it my own personal national holiday!! I bring in cupcakes for my co-workers on my kid's birthdays(they look forward to Oct 4 and March 3 now). You shouldn't be sad at all. You're celebrating your first of many wonderful years with a beautiful little girl.

Hi Steph! I know we've talked before about our little preemies! It is unbelievable when they finally get to that year mark! Mine is almost 2 and I just can't believe it. It's funny though-in some ways he's such a big boy and others he is still very much my baby. Hope little Hailey had a very happy birthday!
I know what you mean, My little guy is nearly 3 now where did that time go - I want it back now!!! Every day I can see him changing and growing up before my eyes and I just want him to stop!! He is soooo much fun. Just enjoy every birthday and every day with little Hailey before we know she'll be running around and you'll have to catch her to give her a kiss. I've actually written mine a letter for him to read when he's 21 about what he was like during his first year and how we felt, what we were doing, how he has changed our lives. I've signed it now and sealed with his name and birthday on it. It's in his baby album although he mightn't appreciate me bring that out on his 21st!!! (Pay back time I suppose you could it!!)
