Hey everyone! I really need some help. My husband is getting his citizenship on July 6th and I'd really like to make him a nice cake. He was born in Mexico City and finally he is going to be a citizen of America! I want something creative and fun...maybe that incorporates both flags or something.... hhmmm. Any ideas GREATLY appreciated!!

A sheet cake with half of the flags on them would look really nice, maybe then add some details of fondant figures like things that are really USA, and things that are really Mexican (the hat, cactus).

And congratulations with your husband's citizinship!!

You could do like tartacadabra said and make both flags. Maybe made from fondant and draped over each half of a sheet cake and then make a statue of liberty fondant figure and place her in the middle with a scroll or something that has his name and citizen of the USA or something congratulatory?
