I have my very first client - I am delivering a 3D frog cake on a lily pad to a huge party.

Since I am completely new to this, my question is:
Do I leave several business cards with my cake or just wait-n-see with word of mouth?

Thanks,
Stacie

If you have a legal business, yes, leave cards.

YES- leave cards- and think about offering an incentive to the frog cake recipients for referring you- maybe a percentage off their next cake or additional cookies or cake truffles with referral.

Leave some cards and let the mother decide, whether to hand them out or not

I see you are in CA. From what I have heard others talk about is CA is VERY Strict. So only if you are legal and working from a licensed kitchen would I hand out business cards. You never know who might be at the party or who the guest might know.
