Stephanie, I am so sorry you and your loved ones are having to deal with such tradgey. I can't imagine what you must be feeling right now. I pray that God would comfort in such a special way. Be encouraged that for God's children, to be absent from the body is to be present with Him. Take care of yourself and know you have friends who care here.
Hugs, Sherri
Thanks so much to each of you for your kind and comforting words of sympathy an encourgement.
We are taking one day at a time and our faith in God is keeping us going.
Love to each of you ![]()
Stephanie dear friend, I am thinking of you in your time of sorrow. My thoughts & prayers go out to you & your family. I'm a firefighter/ems & I work scenes like this all the time. It is hard enough on the members of the FD to get through something like this so I can't imagine how hard it is for you & your family. Look to God & each other for comfort. I do hope a preacher or a crisis person can talk to you guys & help you with the healing process. Sending lots of love & prayers your way~ Hang in their sweet girl~
I share my tears and my prayers with you, and your family

Stephanie, I am so sorry that this has happened.
I will pray for your family, for quick comfort and strength to get through, for I know that there is no understanding or "healing". God is with you though. He hears the moaning of our hearts when even words fail us. He holds us in His hands and protects us in the shadow of His wings.
May He act swiftly to provide you with comfort and peace.
I don't know why this happened, but The Word says that He make Beauty from Ashes, strength from tears, gladness from mourning, and peace for dispair.
As for the media... our youth pastor was in the news because he was charged with L&L (I know, I know) but my FIL had died and the press was all over the area of our church. One call to the sheriff and it was taken care of. They left us alone. Have you tried that? Often the sheriff will have understandings with media. Ours does. He is also a voted in member of law enforcement, so he wants to please the public.
That is a heartbreaking story! The media, although intrusive, draw attention to these tragedies which often result in many more prayers and other positive action from the community.
Thanks so much, as usual, your kind words have helped my family and myself a great deal. I do tell them about all the wonderful words that you post
.
Saturday was a happy day for me somewhat. I did a baby shower cake to welcome a new baby girl into the world and it felt like AJ was standing there wearing his usual grin on his lips the whole time I was working on the cake.
My neice is handling this the best that she can and have shown just have strong a person she is.
Thankfully, the media has gone away!!!
