Just wondering, can you make cake balls from lamingtons?

Are you referring to this Australian recipe:

Don't know if I would go to all the trouble of making a nice frosted cake just to smoosh it up for cakeballs. (JMHO)

Usually cake balls are made from cake scraps or a plain unfrosted cake made just for that purpose.

But as far as I know, any cake can be used. icon_smile.gif

LOL I made the lamingtons for my children but when a couple of days go by they seem to forget them and so I was just wanting to change them around. I did successfully make cake balls out of them and they tasted great.
Thank you for the reply Jan and yes they are a good ole aussie treat.
Thanks again
