Hi I have a question: I pulled copies of the Disney "Cars" and wanted to put them on edible paper. I don't have a printer but wanted to take them to the grocery store and have them copy them onto edible paper. The question is: Is this breaking copywriting policy? Thanks....Vicki0052
some stores will still copy it, but they are doing something illegal. They are not suppose to copy an image onto edible paper that is copyrighted, licensed, trademarked, or registered it is against the law.
You may want to call and ask them if they have any edible images with your theme already. They have certain ones they can purchase that are legal to sell that the licensed holder has approved for sale.
when i worked in a bakery the main thing that we could never make a copy of was anything Disney...I think that was the only thing we had rules against because their copyrights are very strict
The copyright rules are the same for everyone b/c they are all under the same copyright regulations. Disney is just known for making sure the rules are followed where a lot of other companies will not invest all of the time that Disney does into finding people who are doing something illegally
