I DID IT !!!!
Ok, this was my first wedding cake, I was fairly pleased even though i'm never completely happy with my projects but....
The bride and groom saw a pic in a magazine in blue which i've attached and she wanted it in pink. When i delivered it and set it up the groom and the bride's father and mother were around and saw it but i'm not really sure if they liked it or not. I was a little disapointed
What does everyone think?? is it ok?
I think you did a nice job on your first cake. The only thing that I saw was that your cake layers may have been a little shallow and your filagree decor may have needed a little more scrolls in it. Other than that you did great. Keep up the good work.
Agreeing with cupcake here...but I think your actual cake looks better....
The scroll work core is a little heavy but you did an amazing job and can feel very proud of a job well done.
It's beautiful! Don't worry about what the parents thought. I think that you gave the bride and groom exactly what they asked for...and that is all that matters!!!

You should be proud of it. I think you're copy is as close to the original except for the color. We have to stop being our own worst critics.
It looks great , just like the picture they gave you!! If I may say, the only thing I would've done is make the cake a little bit thicker, instead of 3" high I would do 4" or even 4 1/2". For some reason that seems to impress people, at least in my experience. It really looks awesome though, I'm pretty sure they loved it!
Looks exactly the same except your is pink I like your better
