Just wanted to thank everyone for the help with my fathers day cake. It was my first tall cake adn first time making the beer bottles and ice. I couldn't find the Silicone plastique so had to make the bottles in 2 pieces. NOt the ideal way to do it but I still enjoyed making them. ALso I ended up using the gelatin for the ice instead of sugar. My colors were off but what do you think? Couldn't have done it without all the help on here~ You guys are great icon_biggrin.gificon_redface.gif

Actually it was for my husband...and he didn't even look at it once it was finished. (Only told me it should be taller when he saw it half done.) icon_sad.gif
Oh well my kids thought it tasted great!

well that sucks...sorry to hear that your husband was acting like a jerk that day. Did I just say that out loud?
I'm glad the kids liked it though.
