Hi all--Thanks for looking! I wanted to make petit fours. The recipe on CC has a great sounding recipe and it's easy! But the butter was ommitted in the steps for mixing! Can't find the person that submitted the recipe! Does anyone know when you add the melted butter? Thanks for any help with this! ![]()
I didn't look at the recipe, but if this is a poured fondant icing, you can add the butter anytime. Just be sure it is cooled.
FYI- if the icing is too thin and transparent, you can cover the PF twice, or add some melted, cooled white chocolate to the icing.
