I've been wanting to try that!
I don't know where to buy it, though.
I'm in Knoxville, TN--does anyone know where to buy it here?
Oh, well--here's a bump for you!

Hi Knox you can purchase Pastry Pride at either Costco or Smart& Final. Hope that helps. ![]()
Pastry Pride whips up similar to Cool Whip. It tastes great and is soft and fluffy, but it will hold a piped shape. Be sure it is cold before you whip it and keep whipping until it is stiff enough to pipe.
It requires refrigeration. I sometimes blend it with buttercream for a lighter icing. It pipes beautiful shells.
I love Pastry Pride, i get it at Smart & Final here in CA, I don't really like the taste of butter cream, so i use it instead and I even crumb coat my cakes beforeI cover them with fondant, does anybody do the same??
It comes in vannilla, plain and chocolate flavor, I hope you can find it! ![]()
Do It With Icing has some great tips for Pastry Pride.

Whenever I use Pastry Pride, everyone asks me how I made my frosting. I tell them it's a secret. ![]()
