I both happy and scared.
I've been on all kinds of diets since i'm 11, I've lost more than 60 pounds three diferent times in my life time.
I've taken all kinds of diet pills and read every book in the subject.
I even had a ballon on my stomach, but I allways went back to fat
So tomorrow I'll have my surgery. 80 pounds to loose!
well see you in cople of days, I'll miss you... ![]()
Good luck. My neice had this done three years ago. She has had really good success. And is very happy she did it. I hope yours is a success too.
Good Luck.. will be praying for your speedy recovery
Take care of yourself, and will see you back on CC soon.
Thank you all, I'm back, felling very well, happy the worst part is over. thank you for all your prayers,
Your messages made me feel better...

Hello all!
end of day 4 since my surgery, I fell quite good, yesterday after coming back from the clinic I felt very weak, after 60 hours only with intravenous feeding, when I got off to come back home i got a headache. I only drink 1 once of tea or juice or clear broth every hour, but I'm not hungry at all.
I'm bored, I want to go back to my cakes
I'll keep you posted, I don't want to weight my self jet, don't want to become obsessed with that.
But I'll sure post pictures soon
Thank you all
Paola

Hey Paolacaracas, Congrads on making the decision to turn your life around!
I think I told you before that I had lap band surgery a little over a year ago. I'm doing really great. If you have any questions or need any support PM me ok. I'll be happy to be your support group. wgoat5 also had surgery & she'll be a great support too. Right wgoat?! ![]()
Do everything the Doc says & don't do anything away from what he says & you'll be successful!!
Good Luck~ I'm very proud of you!! ![]()
And when you do start noticing a difference it is awesome!! You'll be wanting to shop for clothes til you drop! ![]()
I have so many clothes that I love and I can't wear anymore that I'm looking so foward just to my closet, so sad when the only thing left to wear are jogging pants
Congrats!!! I'm so happy for you! Welcome to your new journey! I had mine a year and a half ago...now I'm 180 lbs lighter! I can't wait until you notice the differences!!! Make sure to take photos of your progress. I took front and side pictures of myself every month...it's hard to see the changes without looking at pictures sometimes!
((((((HUGS))))))
Oh so glad to hear all went well. I went a few years ago and asked my doctor to do it, but they wouldn't do it. Said I was too high risk, and over 40.
Was very upset they wouldn't do it. So now it's back to the same old thing. Though I noticed since I quit my desk job, that it's coming off alot faster. Not just sitting at a desk all day seems to help..
Keep us posted of your progress.
Good Luck!!
idoweddingcookies, I'd go to another dr if I were you. I met a lady that was 64 & she just had lap band. She had high blood pressure & is a diabetic. She is off all her meds now!! Feeling wonderful!
Jenna217, Congrads to you!!!!! Wow!! 180 lbs!! That's incredible!! I totally agree on taking pics. I did that. I sometimes go back & look at my pics to remember what I used to look like. Congrads to you again!!!
