Does anyone know how I would attach a photo icing sheet to fondant? The usualy fondant glueing methods make the colors of the ink run. I tried buttercream on the fondant and it made a big mess.

Any ideas? or can it just not be done?

You can use a very small amount of piping gel, veg shortening or water to attach the image.

The two methods I would use are wet fondant and then dry mostly off this leave a stickyness to fondant but not too wet as to make sheet bleed or use edible glue brushed on in a few locations.

Water and egg white makes edible glue but I also put in glycerine, or use tiny dabs of glycerine if your in a rush.

can I use powdered egg whites? (I dont like to use real egg whites on something that isn't refrigerated)

Will see if I can find glycerine!

I use a spray bottle and spray a fine mist onto the fondant then brush it with a pastry brush to even it out and place the image on that.
