OK my CC friends and family. I need some inspiration. I'm extremely bored. I really want to bake a cake, but don't have an occasion. I don't have any inspiration to bake a cake. Anyone have any ideas. I would love to be able to practice my deco techniques. (i really need to practice) but i don't want to just "throw something together". Any inspiration will help. Thanks in advance. Jen
A "summer" cake with cute sun and sunflowers and ladybugs maybe? Or possibly something that involves water since it is so HOT! Maybe a large sun with sunglasses?

Have you looked through any of the Wilton books. Mine are dogeared with ones I want to try. Also, is there something that you want to get better at. Good time to practice. Have fun!!!! BTW, I love your signature.
Let's see...do you have kids? Is therre anything that they really enjoy or are into? My boys were really interested in snakes a couple of months ago, so we made a snake cake cut from a round cake one rainy day. Do they like to swim? Make a pool cake! I bet if you ask your kids, they'll give you several things they would like you to do! If no kids, is there something that you really enjoy?
