SOmewhere on here is a cookie thread someone posted a roll out choc chip with mini chips that you can use. I made it - not that crazy on the taste. But it is a nice change.

I've made them using a spiral refrigerator cookie, and with my regular chocolate chip cookie recipe.

the spirals were simple, just don't cut them too thin.

Choc Chip were a bit messy. I used a scoop to get consistant sizes and pressed the dough out a bit flat. I also smashed dough into a shaped cookie cutter (flower or scalloped) both worked fine. Don't make these too big, and be sure to cool them completely before you try to move them.

You can also use the cookie treatpan for cookies other than sugar. Just pick one that has a tight structure.

I made them with a shortbread cookie. They were yummy. If you give me your email I will find the recipe and send it to you.

I've also iced with melted chocolate rather then icing.

I have the cookie treat pans and I have to say that I really don't like them. The tops have a different texture than the bottoms and that just doesn't seem right to me!

I've used the chocolate sugar cookie and gingerbread cookie recipes for cookie bouquets, too.
