I just bought a clay gun (not the most expensive - around $10) at my local Michael's and found it in the molding clay section.

I don't know if you can use gum paste in it but I did use it for fondant.

You can use both fondant and gumpaste in the clay gun. There are two typical inexpenisive types found in the clay/sculpting section of the craft stores. One is much easier to use than the other. I can't recall the maker now, but it has a T-shaped key that you twist to push out the dough so it doesn't require any brute strenght. It cost about $30 but with a coupon I think I paid about $18.

Yes you can use both in a glay gun. I have both the push kind and the hand grip kind, both from ACMoore or Michaels in the clay dept. I prefer the hand grip kind.

I bought mine at Creative Cutters online. It was $9. It comes with the different discs to make hair, etc. Putting Crisco in your fondant or gumpaste makes it easier to push through.

I use the sugarcraft gun. I bought mine a country kitchen when is was $35 now they are charging way too much. Beryls has it for $35. I have used the inexpensive gun from michaels, the $35 was the best investment, so easy to use and I love it.

I use the sugarcraft gun Justsweet has linked above. It works really great and is not hard on the hands to use. You can use fondant and gumpaste on it, just make sure your paste is very, very soft for it go thru the gun smoothly.

I have the same one that Justsweet linked to as well. I really like it. I just wish it held more fondant/gumpaste so I didn't have to refill it so much. When I made the Luau Barbie skirt it took forever!! icon_confused.gif

I have several, cos I always misplace them..lol, by far the one from Beryls is my fave! only thing is that it's too small, so I use it whenI need "finishing" touches...

for larger things I use the green one with the "T" bar from MAKINS
