Um, er, I don't know.

I guess we could just find a place and meet! It could be our own little cake club. Maybe everyone could bring something...snacks, drinks, etc. We could plan a demo if one of us is specifically good a something.

So far it seems that we are all over the state...mabye somewhere in the middle.

I would also recommend that it be a kid friendly...just a thought.....

who would be up for this?

I'd say planning something like that would be a big chore for someone. Sounds like fun though. Also I would say that someone should start another thread if they want to discuss it. We are getting away from the topic of this one.

Ladyday95, I understand what you mean about people not being deaf friendly. I have watched people stare at my sister and her friends for years. When we first moved to MO they acted like my sister was retarded or something (she had just graduated from high school and was preparing to go to Gallaudet). We just laughed at them. They stared at me because they thought I was a California snob. Hah! They've learned different after 40 years of living here. When I first moved here all the kids would ask me if I surfed all the time in Calif. Told them not hardly, I lived around Sacramento--no ocean there.

Now I'm rattling off the topic.....
