That is the easiest way.

I would do just that. glue them together with a little icing line.

Does it have to be a sheet cake? I prefer to do a stacked cake with one of each flavor.

You can either do 2 cakes side by side or you can use a large sheet cake pan and put a barrier (like cardboard or anything, really) and pour your different batters in the pan then remove the barrier and bake.

Some ppl do it that way. I have made cardboard dividers for all of my sheet pans. I wrap the cardboard in plastic wrap, have someone hold it in the middle. Then I pour the cake mixes in, then pull the diveder out. Hope this helps.

I have done as vicki614 has done and I prefer that method. It was super easy and there was a little bit of marbeling in the middle where the cake met, worked really swell for me! Good luck and have fun!

When I did this, I had two diff cakes that cooked at diff times and temps, so I baked 2 cakes and put them side by side.

I do it in one pan. If you are doing a 12x18 (which is 3 mixes), I use 2 white and 1 chocolate, since chocolate rises higher and spreads further, which will result in the cake being practically 1/2 and 1/2.
