I hope you don't mind my little "heart-warming" story.
I have a niece that is almost 6. I gave her an Easy Bake oven when she was only 3. It was only used a few times cuz grandma(my mother) had her using the real oven shortly after that. Whenever she'd visit my house we'd bake cut-out sugar cookies and frost them. She's always been a good little baker.
Well, the county fair was this week and she brought home THREE Purple Ribbons!!!! Grandma supervised/assisted but is adamant that Marilly did all the work herself in making all the goodies. My mom was telling me about watching her measure the ingredients and when she was measuring the flour my mom was saying to her "overfill the cup and then level it off with a knife". Marilly pipes up and says "yeah, I know. Aunt PeaJay showed me that a long time ago. "
I'm so proud that I've been a part of molding such a good little baker!
Thanks for letting me share!![]()
