A local bakery sales a sugar type cookie they call iced-tea cakes. I have been trying to figure out what type of icing they are using but have not had any luck yet. It seems like it is a poured icing, in an aray of colors, that dries shinny and semi-hard. It is a sweet icing that doesn't seem to dry out the cookie so I'm not sure if it is a royal icing since the royal recipe I have seems to dry out the cookies. Any suggestions?
The Wilton's poured fondant? Am I right about royal drying out the cookies or is it just the recipe I have?
