This place was once suggested to me as a good cake supply store and I can't find any info on it to get directions. I believe it is located in Wheaton or Silverspring. Has anyone heard of it???

It's in Wheaton, right near the wheaton mall (Westfield, I think).
On Georgia Avenue there is a Dunkin Donuts. Sorry, I dont' know the street name) It's in that shopping center, but around the back side. Right near an Italian Deli and a tropical fish store.
I've never heard of little bitz but i'm very near the cake cottage. I frequent the place!

steph95 ---I'm in Hampstead too. Does your Aunt do cakes? The Cake Cottage is the closet store that I am aware of for the Baltimore/Carroll County area. Wish there was something closer. We're not far from PA. Wish I could find something in the Hanover/York area.

How wonderful to see all these people from MD! I am in Frederick, we have a cake store fairly close by called the "Carriage House Bakery" I am not sure if they carry cake decorating stuff or not! Anywhere else near by to check out?? Thanks!

I just know of the Cake Cottage, Stephanie's Sweets -a little place in Bel Air and Kake Kraft Korner in Glen Burnie. Glen Burnie is a hike for me but they have a nice selection and gumpaste classes!

Price: No she doesn't do cakes. If she's coming over to visit, she'll ask if there's anything I need from there. I need to go visit her and check out the place myself!! I go to Michael's, AC Moore, or the Box Outlet in Dover, DE or hit the net for things that I need. Things are bad enough with DH if I come home from Dover!!! I don't need a place like that tooo close!!!
I took two gumpaste classes they offered at the Kake Kraft Korner. When I hear of more I can let you know. I am in Harford County Maryland not far from the Baltimore County line.

The gumpaste and fondant classes at Kake Kraft Korner will not probably start again until September/October. The instructor Diane Gibbs is out due to medical and vacation, however Basic and Advance Cake decorating is constinously being taught by Sue. So contact the store for the next class. The telephone number is (410) 761-0485. Also you may want to get on their email list, which list upcoming classes and sales. For example, everyday this month there has been something on sale for 25% off. Tomorrow everything in the store is 25% off. Hope this helps!
Jim has also had Beth Parvu teach gumpaste classes at the Kake Kraft Korner. Her class was one of the ones I took along with Diane Gibbs' class.
