Just had to let ya'll know that the Barnyard Wedding Cake I have posted that I made for our county fair. Well found out last night that it won Blue Ribbon for 1st Place, Purple Ribbon for Best of Fair, and Green Ribbon for Grand Champion. This is the first time I have ever done this so I would have been happy with just placing. But WOW!!! I have been doing a happy dance since last night.

Thanks to all who gave me advice. I will post pictures of the cake with the ribbons as soon as I get down to see it.

Just looked at the pic and see why it won all of those ribbons, it is so cute, unique and perfectly done!! I inspire to be that good one day

I know exactly how you feel. And it is a gooodddd feeling !!
Your cake is cute.. do it again next year. Fairs never tell you to stop entering even if you win every year. So the more ribbons the better !! Good for you..
