I think it's gorgeous. I like the cornelli lace on it, and the ruffles. I am in the Wilton courses, just finishing #1 this week, and my instructor seems 'by the book' It's nice you got to do different flowers for the finale instead of roses.

Thank you everybody! I made the flowers three weeks ahead of time so they would dry. I threw some away because the petals were too thick.

I am making the roses as we type...for my class 3 finale cake. I wish I could have made another flower-my instructor is by the book too. Great job-you should be proud!

I am so glad my wilton instructor was not by the book, she said it is your cake do what you want to do, just use some of the elements that we had learned. If she had been by the book I probably would have still done it my way, I am just that way LOL
