Can I make my fondant stripes for a cake early how can I store them so that they will still be soft enough to mold to the cake? the cake will be iced with a cream cheese icing. Thank you, Dawn

Lay them out on plastic wrap supported by cardboard. then, wrap again in heavy foil. If they fit, put that into an air tight container.
