My Aunt and Uncle love cats and I was thinking of making a litter box cake for a dinner we're having next month. I think I'll make the cake in an actual litter box (new of course) and use tootsie rolls for "little surprises" icon_lol.gif but I'm drawing a blank on what to use for the litter. Got any ideas?

You could crumble some cookies for the litter or do some sanding sugar?

I've made a few...Even chocolate cake with whipped cream topping.
I make the cake in a new litter box or foil roasting pan...then ice in a white icing and crumble nilla waffers on top and crush some more nilla waffers and dye them green to sprinkle on also. Large tootsie rolls softened in the microwave and pulled to make the ...you know. I even did one for a breakfast club out of crumbcake. Tuff thing to try to get folks to bite into though!

Thank you for all your help. After seeing a picture of one I'm beginning to think I may not be able to eat it myself icon_lol.gif
