Not long ago I saw a wonderful pictureof a ladybug, looked like a half a ball and a little grass and a few simple flowers as a border (if my failing memory is correct). I got an order for a ladybug cake today and that picture jumped into my head in minutes, and now I can not find the pic or remember who it was. I think it was one of those just playing around and look what I made cakes. If anyone knows who this is or were I can find the picture, I would be ever so greatful. Thank you.

Thank you, they are not the one that I had in my head, but they are close, (then again the one in my head may be a mixture of 2 or 3)

I am thinking a petal cake, with white and yellow bc for the daisy look and then a half ball ladybug. My head is telling me the soft "daisy" will make the ladybug pop.

OOOOhhhh I like your idea of the "daisy" petal cake - that will look awesome - it will definitely make the ladybug pop! Can't wait to see how it turns out.

I have done some lady bugs using m'ms I tried to display my picture in the gallery, with my post, but I guess it is back to the drawing board for me. Take a look in the gallery if you think it will be helpful. red m'ms make great lady bugs.
