Alice In Wonderland Cupcakes And Petit Fours

Help!! I need some ideas for Alice in Wonderland Cupcakes and Petit Fours for some fru-fru Gala for tomorrow night. Any ideas?
If you have the time, Character cakes, like the King and Queen would be cool and then make the Petit Fours into the other cards of the deck. Or the worm would make a nice cake as well. HTH

Doug was thinking...a sloooooooow operation on a Friday aft. Trying to come up w/ fast and easy that stays within original cupcakes and petit fours.

OK...tea cups...great idea, but just make out of cup cakes.....peel off paper. turn upside down. then do a poured icing like for petit fours. Flip right side up when dry and finish off top. Add fondant handles and detail out in BC.

cards, lots of cards...as in the way they come to life in the game...make out of fondant or chocolate and place standing up or flat on cupcakes

hearts wearing crowns. (petit fours?) -- could be flat BC or made from chocolate melts and stood up on cupcakes.

the mushroom and worm...easy in BC on either.

cupcakes w/ just smiles on them (Cheshire cat!) (also prefect for petit fours) --- little slightly less than half-moons w/ edible marker, gel paint or BC lines.

How about a whimsy cake with several tiers with little fondant characters on it like the rabbit, the caterpiller, the king or queen, etc?
Or, a pocket watch shaped cake with little fondant characters on or around it like the rabbit carries with him.
A sheet cake made to look like a stacked deck of cards, but instead of the traditional 'faces' on the cards, but a different character in each corner.
A frozen buttercream transfer of different characters?????
That's all I can think of.
