Does anyone know how to make a fishing boat with someone fishing from
it from a side view? icon_confused.gif The boat is going to be at the top of a 1/2 sheet cake and down below{the rest of the cake}is going to be decorated like an
ocean floor.
I have an idea about what I'm going to do but wanted to see if anyone else had a better idea. icon_smile.gif

How about making an 8" cake and cutting in half, sticking them together and place rounded (or slightly flaten that side) side towards sheet cake. It would likely have to be supported w/ dowels. But then it could be decorated whatever way you want. It wouldn't be a facy boat but just basic shape. I've never tried this but it might work.

Thats a great idea! icon_biggrin.gif I never would have thought of that.
I could even make it smaller if I had to, by just cutting down the cake.
Thanks!

You can always use the wilton football pan and cut one of the points off. The rounded side would obviously be on the bottom and you wouldn't have to sculpt it.
