How do I put fondant side by side? For example, I want to make a cake with an American flag, cammoflage, etc. How do I make it stick together?
I'm new at this fondant thing...
Thanks!

Hi! I am still really new at this too, but this is what I've gathered from reading others' postings. If you want the different color pieces to stand-out (fondant piece on top of another fondant piece) you could paint a tiny bit of water or vanilla on the back of your fondant piece and stick it to another fondand piece. Or, if you want it to all be one smooth layer, lay out your base color and then lay out your pieces on top of it and run a rolling pin over it smooth it out. Hope it works for you! icon_smile.gif

Yes....AmyKay's right.....just paint a little water on the back and stick it on.
