I'am making my first fondant bow and im wondering if I cant take a ball of mmf and melt it slightly and use that to stick the bow loops in? rather than RI has anyone tried this do you think it would work? also if you have any tips on how to assemble the bow that would be great as well. thankyou in adance.
To be honest, I'm not sure how melted MMF would work as center glue. You can also use melted candy melts or chocolate.
As far as technique, there is a tutorial on my site that may help you:

So when I didnt get a reply I just went ahead and did it and so far so good everything is sticking and drying and working really well. my only concern is when I go to pick it up. I hope it doesnt stick to the plate but so far so good.
