I have had a lot of requested for these fruit cakes that i have been doing but I have heard that someone else does them also and she charge less. I need your input . THe picture is about the 4 or 5th picture in my photos . That cake is 2 12x18 with filling, whipcream icing, almonds on the sides and the fruit that you see in the picture. I should have use two 11x15 pans instead because this cakes was huge and I had trouble trying to cut in fill it. MY question is what would you charge for this

1/4 sheet cake 1 9x13
9 inch round ( in photos also)
the number before the sizes means how many cakes of that size were use
It would partly depend on the cost of ingredients. That will vary greatly depending on where you shop.
Start with the total cost of ingredients multiplied by 3 or even 4
compare it to $1 a serving, and choose a cost that makes sense to your area.
The other person on the board may not use the same recipe or live in the same area, so those costs would be different. And, in some areas, people like fruit cake, in others it is just a door stop. ![]()
