I'm attempting to make a letter for the front of a baseball hat cake. The school team logo is a typical varsity letter with no background - just the letter on the hat - bold black outline filled with that yukky flat gold. I'm using RI outline and flood, but I need for the outline to really show up. I was thinking of using a #3 tip for the outline. Do you think this will be sufficient or would it be better to do two layers with a smaller tip? I would appreciate any suggestions...

I always use at lease a #3 tip for colorflow outlines. If you want it really bold, you might try a #5 - or go over it more than once with the #3.

Thanks! I'll try the larger tip first - my piping leaves a lot to be desired, and one pass is better than two, IMHO icon_lol.gif
