So glad you responded! When I look at the properties tab of FrontPage it just says FrontPage....so I believe it's FrontPage 2000, not 2003. My host is Yahoo, so I know 2003 is not compatible with Yahoo webhosting, but 2000 should work!

When I click "publish", I enter the domain....http://cleverconfections.com, then another window pops up asking for my cleverconfections username and password, but it will NOT take them! It won't let me past this step!

A friend has a very "generic" and ugly website activated for me until I get mine lauched (she used Dreamweaver), but I hate the way it looks and I have SO much more info on my design....I just can't seem to get it loaded! I haven't really been advertising my site because of the way it looks and because of all the licensed images on it (that I want to remove).

Is that part of what comes with your computer or is it purchased software? What is the name of the software? What password are you talking about?

Nope, password is the same...I can flip over to Yahoo and sign in with no trouble! I'm soooo stumped!

You can also purchase it for about $200-300! It's pretty expensive, but I love it, very user-friendly! Just can't get the site to load! UGH!

FrontPage doesn't play well AT ALL with browsers other than IE. That's about 20% of the market.

I use FrontPage to do my schools' webpage, but we do have our own webserver. Have you tried contacting Yahoo? I'm sure this isn't a new issue and they might have any easy fix for you......

I had the same exact trouble with front page. It took me over a week and I finally was so frustrated I was about to give up and throw out my computer. My husband took a look at it and he said that he played around with it and got it to work. When you go into the managing site you have to make sure that your photos and stuff are listed a certain way.

I was reading that on Yahoo the other day.....most of the interface problems between Yahoo and FP are with FP2003.....but that doesn't make me feel very confident! I think it has something to do with "server file extensions", but I haven't quite figured them out....and I'm still not sure why FP won't let me sign into my account. Thismay be something I never figure out, unfortunately!

OMG.....can you ask your hubby exactly what he did....if he remembers? I know I can get this to work, I actually got it to work several months ago, then our PC got a virus and we had to restore it and I had to start over.....so here I am again!

Cambo, I use Front Page for most of my websites that I have published. I, too, had problems with publishing directly from Front Page. What I have done is I have downloaded a free program called Smart FTP, and that is what I use to publish my sites. All you have to do is move the folders from your computer to the host ~ it's all drag and drop!

Good luck!
