I've had it in my cupboard since November. One batch is the original clear kind in its original tub. The other batch had red powdered food dye in which I use for writing on cakes. I've read the ingredients and nothing in them needs refrigeration, but I just want to make sure they're ok so I don't poison anyone.

It will not spoil, as long as it is not dried out you can use it.

PS. The moderators have asked we not 'bump' topics.

I have an open container that is about 3 years old. It doesn't smell funny and doesn't have anything growing in it, so I figure it's fine and have used it without any problems.
