"He paid with a credit card and needs a cash refund"? Old internet scam.

NO not at all...

I know someone on here allows clients to pay MC/ Visa via Paypal, and you don't have to have a paypal account. I'm just trying to figure out how to do this. icon_smile.gif

Hi

Here's a link... not sure if this is what you want. It lets your clients pay without a paypal acount. Not sure if you need to have one though.

I receive Paypal payments.
The buyer does not need a Paypal account, but you, the recipient do.
In order to open a Paypal account to receive money, you need to supply bank account information and verify your identity in a couple different ways.

PayPal does take a percentage of that payment though, but I think it is worth it if that is the only way someone can make a payment. I think it's 1% to 3%. It was very easy to set up and do the verifying thing.

Yes, I've done all this. But I've seen someone have this on their website, and you 'click" pay now, and it brings you to a form to fill out.

I can't figure out how to get a form that suits what I want.

We figured out something else, that will work though, Thanks guys!!

Oh!

I know with my website host, I would have to pay extra for those services.

I'm in the process of offering PayPal to customers for cc payments! I've done so for other things via Ebay, and it's soooo easy! I plan to send an email invoice to customers with the PayPal link at the bottom stating "CLICK HERE TO PAY NOW". Kitagrl does this also and I tested it on her website! It was great! They do take a small percentage of the total, so I'm bumping my prices up $5 to cover the fee to ensure I don't affect my profit margin in any way on my cakes!

I do provide the Paypal option for my clients,, and it is wonderful! Yes it costs me a little, but it is less than paying VISA for the rental of the machine.

When someone wants to pay via Paypal, all I do is send them an email invoice, and then they follow the instructions. The money is deposited right into my Paypal account. Once I get to $150 in my Paypal account, I can withdraw to my own bank account for no additional charge.

I find this a lot easier than trying to set up my website to do the instant "click here to pay" thing...I had a little trouble getting it to work, so I switched back to the email invoice.

I forgot to mention that I put the Paypal logo and a page that explains the email invoice process on my website so that people know that they can use this option. I have actually gotten some orders based just on the fact that I take credit cards and my competitors don't! icon_lol.gif

your web host has to support the pay pal cc code, to have the PAY NOW or PAY HERE BUTTON...but you can still send them an e-bill and the client can still pay with his cc of choice.
