Thank you for the compliment. Just reviewing some old threads to find some info when I came across this thread and saw your post -- sorry that I missed it so many months ago. But don't mind sharing at all --

I just traced the image onto wax paper and then used a #1 and #2 tip -- pretty much a #1 throughout. I then outlined it again in black after I was finished. I do my best not to have any lines show up on on the final transfer, but some always do so I use a hot knife or a paint brush to erase any traces of lines. I re-outline after I've done this. This cake was also small enough (10") that I was able to do the entire top of the cake as the transfer. I was also very careful when I put the icing on the back of the image. I piped it on and smoothed it very gently. I don't do it as hard as it looks like they do it on the tutorial. Also, with the delicate lines on this one, it would have been impossible. Because I'm doing the entire surface as a transfer, I don't have to worry about how much icing I use on the back. Other than that, it was just a steady hand. thumbs_up.gif Hope this helps.

Sarah

Like everyone else , I am in awe of your good naturedness. I can only hope I would have handled the situation the same way.
