I need help with the base of my cake..i forgot to put something on top of the cake board before putting my cake and now it is too late..how can i hide the cake board?

ok, i will try to make a fondant ruffle or a strip of fondant..gosh, i knew it was too good to be true that everything went smoothly while i was making and decorating the cake.. icon_cry.gif

you were just too wrapped up in the work of art you were making up top to be bothered w/ the board!

it will turn out just fine.

and a fondant covered board is SO au curant!

It looks lovely just measure a stip cut with a ruler and knife. Take the ribbon off butt it up close to cake and cut out edge. Good luck .
