Ever Saw A More Brightly Coloured Cake?

This a clown cake I made for my daughter's school fund-raiser. She was very happy, sitting with me and mixing the colours! Good advertisement for Americolor!
I do not like the bright colours, but I was given a picture and had to try to copy it on the cake.
I have attached pictures of both the cake and the original clown picture.
Thanks for looking!
Karen
I think that you did a great job with the clown and think the border is pretty cute. The colour are so bright but being a clown i think it looks fantastic.
First, I want you to know that I hate clowns. I am 26 years old and still hide my face if I see a clown, it doesn't matter if it's Ronald McDonald or those creepy little Kazim clowns.
Ok...so i told you this because I want you to know what a huge compliment it is when I tell you that you did a wonderful job on that cake! I think the colors look great with it and you did a great job making the cake look like the picture you were given. Good job! ![]()
Wow, it looks great! I agree with everyone else, the colors are perfect for a clown. You did such a good job matching the cake to the picture!!!
Very nice! Did you resize it through your scanner?
You did a great job! I am jealous of the clowns highlights....much better job than mine!
Fantastic job on the clown, much better than the picture. I really like the two tone of the blue collar, it gives it dimension. Beautiful!
Thank you all!
Samsgranny, it was the first time I was trying the two bags in third bag technique... I did it on the ruffle and on the hair. I too, was pleased with it, though I think the ruffle is not neat enough.
Pootchi,all4cake, JulieB, kazoot, shrek, gibson, beez, ape, Misst, petitesweet, monstersmom, eilers, Dolly-bird26, tgirl22.. Thanks for the nice comments!
emilykakes your comment made me smile! I like his hair too!
Kellie1583 Your compliment is extra special!
This was a cake iced in superfast time... I had 90 mins only to ice it. I had baked it the day before, and put a basic cooked chocolate icing on it. The kids loved the bright colours! Which I didn't initially, but now I like them too.
Thank you all for taking the time to comment.

clowns scare the $%*& out of me too, and I'm 22. I avoid them like the plague.
That being said, I think you did a wonderful job on the cake- I love the colors- and the clown came out good too, even though it makes me have the willies. ![]()
Your clown looks cuter and happier than the one in the picture!
Your cake looks better than the picture. Very cute!
I think the colors are PERFECT! Clowns SHOULD be bright and bold looking. This is one of the cutest, clown cakes I've ever seen! I'm putting itinto my saved folder! Great job! ![]()
Can you tell me more about this 2 in 1 technique? It looks great! Did you freehand or transfer?
