I made a Spiderman cake today and I am having some bleeding with my icing. I used Americolors and I thought I had read where they didn't bleed.

Can you tell me why my icing might have bled? I had problems with the red and black.

Sometimes, if you let one color dry before you add the next, it will help prevent bleeding. Americolors are not particularly "non-bleeding". they are very strong, and you get better color.
