I am making a cupcake tower for a 60th birthday party. I was wondering what size stand to get (that has the center pole with tiers connected) that will fit 100-125 cupcakes?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

My cupcake stand is slightly smaller than the one you're looking for, but it's a starting point for you. I have two Wilton cupcake stands which hold 38 cupcakes each. I've used them for parties and have set them at opposite ends of the table. Here's the link:

although it's not exactly what you're looking for i used the clear cake plates and separators for one that i just did. i was able to put 60 on there. if you get bigger circles you might be able to put more cupcakes on it. i have a picture of it in my pictures.

i was looking for one like you described too but i couldn't find it locally and i needed one fast.

For some reason the link is no longer valid but Wilton does still offer the product. It's called Cupcakes 'N More Dessert Stand. I just went to their site and searched for cupcakes and pulled it right up.

I just want to clarify, is this the stand you are talking about? The Tall-tier cake stand?

http://www.wilton.com/store/site/product.cfm?sku=pg_talltierstand&killnav=1

If so I would draw out the different size plates and use them as templates, (make sure to leave room for the center column) and set cupcakes on each one just for reference. Make sure you keep notes on your templates for future use icon_smile.gif

No, the one I referenced is specifically made for cupcakes (with the holders). If you click on this link http://www.wilton.com/store/site/product.cfm?id=4BD856D4-802D-F658-02A787D3CB120535 it will take you right to it.

I think what you are looking for is the Wilton Tall Tier cake stand. It is used for wedding cakes, but can be used for cupcakes, bars, etc. That would fit alot of cupcakes if you purchased the whole set.

Yes the link took me to that one, I was asking for clarification from Sweet Dreams on which one she was talking about.

Yes, I think the tall tier stand is the one i was thinking of, i just did not know if you could fit 100-125 on that stand.

Thank you all for your advise and thanks also loves2bake and leily for the idea of drawing out templates and placing the cupcakes on there first to see how many each tier would be able to hold, GREAT IDEA!!
