Luster Dust Help........

i need some advice i need to spray a cake to make it look like a pearl color so the base color will be ivory and i want to spray it with the airbrush with luster dust pearl color . how would i do that? i have vodka .im not sure if it can be used since its a kids cake and its too late to get everclear . can someone give me some alternatives i would appreciate the help

or any ideas

Luster dust pearl can be easily applied with a dry brush. It tends to clog an airbrush.

PS: Vodka can be used instead of Everclear.

there is a bottle at home depot that is like an aerosol can but you add the "paint" to it, i haven't used it but it is not supposed to clog like the airbrush. anyone remember the name of this thing?
