Hi Ya'll,

I am making cupcakes in my toaster oven tomorrow and for the life of me I can not figure out how to ice them. Yes I am very S1eepy. Do I start in the middle or on the outside edge? I am only going to pipe the icing onto them.

Thank you

If you want a flat swirl, start in the middle and work out. If you want a nice peak in the middle, start on the outside edge and build to the center for a nice big curly top.

I use tip 1M and start on the outside. Beware..it takes a lot of icing! You can see my cupcake pics in the photos

I agree. Tip 1M..and you will need alot more icing than you think. But they turn out gorgeous!!!

Good luck.

THANKS YA'LL!!!! icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif

I just knew ya'll would help.

Merissa--I do like the look of you green cupcakes. I didn't even think about flowers on them. I am going to borrow off your idea and use the drop flowers I already have.

And thanks for the tip about using alot of icing. icon_surprised.gif
