if i use regular butter in the place of unsalted butter? making a pecan sourcream pound cake and it calls for unsalted butter

Personally, I like salted butter better - I think it has more flavour and makes whatever you put it in taste more buttery and creamy. If there is salt in the recipe, I would leave that out though! Good luck!
