I just receive the pastyy queen book and whimsical bakehouse in the mail.. I ordered sweet celebrations from sylvia weinstock and it is at Barnes Noble.. Im not all that thrilled with the WB book, but I love all things cake so I am trying to decide if I should exchange it for the SW book.

I have the Sylvia Weinstock book, and while it is beautiful, I did not find it as useful as some others I have.

She does not use fondant, at all, and I don't remember any detailed floral instructions.

If you don't already have it, Toba Garrets, The Well Decorated Cake, has lots of information, great photos, and great recipes.
