Last Friday my husband came home with all new appliances for me! A GE True Temp Stove, GE Profile Stainless Steel dishwasher, GE Profile Convection oven and even a new range hood!
I just baked the first of many layers of a wedding cake I am doing for this weeked in my Stove. I could not be HAPPIER. I have never had anything cook as well and even as this. I thought my old one was good but now I see what crappy cooking it actually did LOL!
Just wanted to share...the coolest part of it all is we got over $3000 worth of brand new appliances FREE!

Congratulations on your new toys! My DH says I better start saving some cake money because I use my oven about 8 hours a day doing cakes. I hope you enjoy many years out of your new things! 
Tickled! That would not express my feelings for brand new applicances! Just imagine how much better your cakes will be now!! 
Well, I wish that was my kitchen. Those are the stock pictures. My kitchen is nice but we are still working on new counters etc.
Anyhow....the secret. Have a husband who is a contractor...that is it. One of the developers he contracts for has a storage trailer full of stuff and told them that it has to be emptied out. Take what you want or it is going to the dump. We are still scoping out and waiting to see if the people who said they want the other stuff is going to get it. If not I will be replacing what I have...already. They have several smooth top stoves like mine and one that is stainless steel smooth top. We actually got two just like mine and sold the second one.

Yes! having a hubsand in that field is great! My husband is a carpenter and is about to get his license and his boss always tells them take what ya want before it goes to the dump. Sometimes new sometimes gently used lol. I got a great range hood with a pull down glass in front and a floor standing ice maker, amoung numerous cabinets and such. Really came in handy when we moved into our new place that needed complete remodeling
