So, I woke up on Wed. morning, and my left eye was totally swollen shut! When I did pry it open, even the white part of my eye was swollen. It looked like the brown part was sunken in! So, I call in to work, and make an appointment at the clinic. Dr. tells me I have pink eye!! ..puts me on eyedrops. Great, two boys at home, 2 and 4, hoping they don't get it. So I stay hom from work Wed. and Thurs. Thursday night, I get a horrible sore throat, and the left side of my neck is all swollen. I go to work Friday morning (today), since i don't have any sick time yet, and realize there is no way I can make it through the day. My eye hasn't gotten any better, and my throat and neck are killing me. Make another appointment at the Dr....he says I have tonsilitis and strep throat!...put me on antibiotic. Great. Lucky for me I have great family who kept my kids overnight almost since Wed., because I'm highly contagious right now. So, kids are gone, husbands gone, just me and CC. I had a cake due today, and I ended up doing it yesterday, and another due Sun, but I cancelled that one. Don't want to spread the wealth. So, I just feel like whining to someone to try to make myself feel a little better, and pass some time. Thanks for listening.
You poor poor thing.... I feel so bad for you... rest baby rest!
Five days later...still sick, seems to be getting worse. Going back to Dr. today for the 3rd time this week. This just sucks!!!
