So my DH and I were watching this movie Because I Said So with Diane Keaton and Mandi Moore. They run a catering business in the movie. It made me giggle because throughout the movie they keep showing them at weddings and all I could do was look at the cakes....I know....it's an addiction. icon_lol.gif Anyways there are some neat ones. The one at the end is especially gorgeous even though it meets its demise....

It's a cute film with lots of cakes. Thought you might like to check it out. thumbs_up.gif

I have never heard of it...I do the same thing with anything that has cake involved.

I'll have to look for that movie. Everytime I go to the movie store I look for movies with cake in the name or on the cover. It is really a bad addiction. I have gotten some horrible movies because they had a picture of a cake on the cover (or they had the word in it). My husband now wants me to get "wedding Slashers" just so I can stick with the wedding/cake theme (not much into those movies)...

Can't wait to watch this movie!

Never heard of Wedding Slashers either, is it in the room behind the counter for 18 yr and up????? Or is it just a horror flick?

So, I was so excited to watch this movie because of the cakes. Well, I loved the cakes, but I didn't like the movie at all. I was ready to kill Diane Keaton (Mom) for being to overbearing!!! My husband actually made me turn off the movie because of all the stupid stuff the Mom kept doing. Anyway, just my thought on the movie. I am glad I liked the cakes. They were all very cool, especially the one at the end.....

Just my opinion...

How funny...my sister called me a few weeks ago to tell me about this movie she had just watched ~ wanted to make sure I saw it because it had so many neat cakes in it. So even when I'm not looking out for cakes, I have others looking out for me!! lol

I had the same problem with only watching the cakes. I also found myself watching the decorators. You could tell who was an actor and who was not. icon_smile.gif I loved the cake that appeared to have rose petals all over it.

This is so funny. I saw this movie a few nights ago, and thought about making this exact post!! I loved the movie, and I especially loved the cakes! I also loved the rose petal cake! I am still trying to figure out exactly how they did that! I even went out and bought that big tip that you are supposed to use to ice your cake with, and I figured I'd try to modify it to a rose tip, and see if it would work, but I haven't gotten the chance yet. I can't wait to see it again, mostly just to look at all the cakes!!
