Hi! I'm new to the boards. I've been seeing lots of pictures of cakes with draped fondant. I was wondering if someone can tell me how to do it!

Hi,
You need to roll out the Fondant really thin, but be careful not to break it.
If t is a very long pc. use your arms to lift it. YOu can do the same thing for bows, but won't be as thin as drapes..

Thank you. So once I pick it up, I just kind of gather it together and drape it along the cake. Do I need to brush vanilla or something on it so it will stick to the cake?

Rachetta, if you're putting the drapes on a cake already covered in fondant, use very stiff royal icing to glue it together. If you look at my photos, you'll see the one I did recently. The royal icing will dry quickly and will hold it well in place.
