I am doing a flip flop cake coming up and don't know what to charge? Two flip flops, one white, one chocolate with buttercream icing and probably fondant straps. Any ideas??

How much is it going to cost you to make them?

It depends on how you are doing them. If I did them I would shape each one out of 1/4 sheet cake so I would charge what I would for 2 decorated 1/4 sheet cakes....for me, it would be $50 or if it was a double layer each it would be $60.

I started a flip flop cake today. I am charging $20 for one pair. This is for a friend. If it wasn't a friend I would probably charge a little more.

Question for you... Did you use 2 layers for your flip flops or did you only use 1? I haven't decorated mine yet because I wanted to know what everyone else does first. Thanks for answering~ icon_smile.gif
