Help!!

I am making a Tiki Hut cake for my friends reception tomorrow Saturday, May 19th and I have to deliver it by 3:00pm.

My problem is the grass skirt that goes on top of the cake...it fell apart and I don't have time to make another one out of gumpaste and for it to dry in time...does anyone have any great alternative ideas that I can use to create a similar affect.

Thank you for your help and support,

Jayne

Hi Gals,

Thank you for replying, I appreciate it. I could respond sooner, I had a wedding party dinner to attend last night (Friday).

I talked it over with some women I work with and we came up with the idea to use rafia for the roof (that was what my real delima was) and to also us brown construction paper for support underneath.

Thank you again for all your help! icon_biggrin.gif
