Is it possible to colour a fondant figure after it has dried? I bought some of the Wilton fondant (I know, boo hiss) to practice with (consistency, modelling etc) and I made a little 'bride'...but of course, she is just plain white. I did this at work and I didn't have my colours with me. Can I colour her now? If I can, how would I do this?

TIA

You can use petal dusts brushed on dry or mixed with vodka or everclear and painted on or airbrushed.

I think for facial espressions etc. you might be able to use paste colors right from the jar with a teeny paintbrush.

You can paint her with luster dust. Mix the luster dust with lemon extract, everclear, vodka or (I use) clear vanilla to make a paint consistancy and paint. I find when I paint with regular icing colors (mixed with the above mentioned liquids) my figures are feel sticky.
